It was with pride last Friday night that I attended the SGU/SLGA awards dinner in Glasgow to see two of Kilmacolms finest golfers receive national recognition.

Eilidh Briggs received the SLGA girls order of merit trophy (see picture below) for her outstanding achievements last year.

Older sister Megan was part of the victorious Scottish Ladies Home International team, who won the Team of the Year award. (Apologies Megan, no picture as the one I took didn’t come out well).

For Kilmacolm to have two such talented and personable golfers as members is something every member should be proud of. We wish them both continuing success in 2011 and beyond.
