Rosebowl winner Allan Mackenzie receiving trophy from Captain Kennedy Foster

The Redcliffe Rosebowl, 36 hole strokeplay qualifier for the Club Championship, was played last Saturday  (7th August) in excellent conditions, matched by the standard of golf. 57 players took part.

The winner with a gross aggregate score of 139 was Allan MacKenzie, first time winner of this event. Unfortunately Allan cannot compete in the knockout stages due to other committments.  In second place with a score of 140 was Dave Pearson with a 3 way tie for 3rd place on 141 between Colin Christy, Andrew Farmer and Matthew Clark. Matthew qualifies as number 1 seed in the knockout stages as current holder of the Championship.
