Colin Brown Drives in as Captain
of the R & A

Kilmacolm past captain, Colin Brown began his term of office as the Captain of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews last week following the traditional drive in ceremony on the first tee of the Old Course St Andrews. At exactly 8 am Colin teed off in front of a large crowd and hit his ceremonial tee shot accompanied by cannon fire. A group of approximately 40 members from Kilmacolm Golf Club made the journey from Kilmacolm to witness the historic moment and wish Colin good luck for his term in office. The Kilmacolm Golf Club are hosting a reception in honour of Colin on Saturday 17th October at 5:30 pm to which all members and friends are invited.
