Congratulations to Andy Farmer on winning the Renfrewshire County strokeplay championship on Sunday 8th August at Erskine Golf Club. Andy's 2 round total of 140 managed to pip Jamie Alexander of Whinhill GC by 1 shot. Matthew Clark was a close equal 3rd 2 shots back at 142.
Unfortunately Andy cannot compete in the knockout stages for the matchplay championship.
Our best wishes go to Matthew Clark in this event, who won his last 16 match on Tuesday night (10th) against S Higgens of Gourock. His next match is on Thursday night, 12th, against Michael Campbell of Renfrew GC.
