West Division Inter County Matches 2010
(Renfrewshire/Ayrshire/Lanarkshire And Dunbartonshire & Argyll)
Monday 14th – Wednesday 16th June 2010
This prestigious competition will take place at Kilmacolm on 14- 16th June and Mrs Morag Turner has been in charge of arrangements and will co-ordinate this event on these days
You will recall that the Scottish Girls Championships and Peugeot Foursomes were held in 2003 and 2005 respectively and we will follow the arrangements put in place then.
Approximately 32 ladies will be playing and along with caddies this will, therefore, cause some major impact on the Clubhouse.
Toilets and Showers
In view of the numbers, we shall require to commandeer the Gents Locker Room and Shower Room for the use of the ladies for the three days. Lockers will not be used by competitors but gentlemen should make sure that their clubs etc are retrieved by the 13th June if required after that date.
If clubs are required on the 14 - 16th June then arrangements should be made with Morag.
She will have helpers who will arrange to have your clubs retrieved from lockers on these days if needed. The Gents Locker Room exit to the Gents Toilets will be temporarily blocked off so access for male members to the Gents Toilets will be via the Spike Bar or Junior Room
Course
The Course will have reserved Tee Times for the Jamboree as follows
8.30 am – 10.30am
1.00 pm - 3.30pm
Car Parking
The Car Park at the Professional Shop will be allocated to officials.
Registration for Competitors and Administration
The Family Room will be used for registration and administration of the event and access will only be from the Main Lounge. Access from Family Room to Ladies Locker Room will be blocked
Catering
Coffee, Bacon Rolls etc will be available from 8.00am if needed and a Special Menu will be on offer in the Main Lounge throughout the three days.
Main Lounge and Spike Bar and Junior Room
The Clubhouse Rooms will be available throughout the three days. However the Main Lounge will have tables reserved for the caddies (4 tables of 12) and the Dining Room will be used for the County Teams (4 tables of 10).
The Main Lounge will hold a Dinner for the Counties on Monday evening and will be reserved for this purpose.
Courtesy at other Clubs
Although the Course can still be played by members outwith the specified reserved tee times, Courtesy is available at other Clubs on the three days and anyone wishing to take up this offer should contact the Club Secretary by Friday 11th June.
Buggies
The three buggies have been booked for the three days by RLCGA
We look forward to another opportunity to show Kilmacolm Golf Club at its best both in terms of the course and its traditional hospitality.
