Our Club
"An ideal golfing environment for families and players of all standards."
- Stephen McAllister, two times European tour winner
For generations, The Kilmacolm Golf Club has been enjoyed by all standards of golfer - from the golfing great to the enthusiastic novice.
Set amid breathtaking scenery in West Renfrewshire, Kilmacolm prides itself on being a family orientated village club offering a friendly gateway to golf.
The beauty and serenity of the course, with its gorse, heathers and tree lined fairways will lead you to think you have the place to yourself. Indeed, Walter Hagen, largely considered one of the greatest golfers of all time and eleven time major champion, considered our course "a very pleasant golfing place".
Welcome to the Seniors Section
We have a very active seniors section for men over 55 and retired. In addition to the monthly medal, played off the yellow tees, there are well over a dozen matches in the Renfrewshire Seniors league as well as friendly matches against other clubs.
The seniors form the core of the daily roll up, where all are welcome.

Welcome to the Gents Section
Monthly medals and other 18 hole competitions are played on Saturdays. These tend to be balloted within a preferred time slot. Midweek medals are played at leisure on Wednesdays and include the option to play over 9 holes.
From Monday to Friday there is a daily roll up teeing off at 1pm, in which everyone is welcome to join in. On Saturday there is a morning, lunch and afternoon group so finding a game is never difficult at our club.
The club is very active within Inverclyde, Renfrewshire and nationally and team events include the men’s Newton Shield.
